To find out what songs are naughty or nice.
At least what songs are working well and what just are not. We have a couple that have needed to be dropped for this reason.
Once again then, we will be looking at the songs for the upcoming gigs to ensure that they are working well.
As ever I will also try to add non-gig songs into the evening. They may come from the festive library, or from the larger regular one.
With that said, here is the list for the gigs.
Christmas Songs:
We will take 10 songs from the first section. This is for the Switch On.
Feliz Navidad
Jingle Bell Rock
Frosty the Snowman
Rudolph
Let It Snow
White Christmas
Mele Kalikimaka
Winter's Tale
Walking in the Air
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
These are further songs for the next two gigs.
Blue Christmas
Holly and the Ivy
Christmas Medley
Sweet Bells
Twelve Days of Yorkshire Christmas
Calypso Carol
Stop the Cavalry
We are focusing on the songs in bold this time. I hope you have been doing some homework to learn the ah-ah-ah-ah-ah bits!
Non-Gig Songs
You Got It
The Letter
You are My Sunshine
Wellerman
Galaxy Song
Somewhere only we know
Time in a Bottle
Rhythm of the Rain

Thursday 18th December - SUC Xmas Party!
It is floor spot frenzy! So whatever you can do, or you can just make a request for a song. It would be good to have something from evryone (if there is time!)
I think we also need to have some thought about the food. I am thinking that we want to keep it to a light buffet like last time. I am keen that we waste no food.
There is a tentative date for the AGM too of the 22nd January. If there are no obstructions to this that is the date we will go with.
I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday
Gordon
