Keep on Running!

For those about to do it, good luck for Sunday in the Santa Fun Run!

It is also our last chance to do a final rehearsal for our performance as well.

As such we will go through the complete set list for Sunday in that order. Then I have come up with a load of songs that have run in them. As much as I would like "Keep on Running", "Run To You", "Run to the Hills", "Running Free", "Runaway" etc, we do not have the song sheets so I have had to be a bit more imaginative!

Next week will be the first one in December, so I am going to suggest that we do nothing but Xmas songs. If there are any that need a final polish, we will look at them, but mainly a fun-strum. Then we can go back to a more non festive selection for the last two weeks of the year.

Remember that the Party is on the 18th! So, if you wish, come up with something to entertain! It does not have to include a Ukulele. It could be a Poem, a Joke, a dance number... Just no juggling chainsaws as I think the insurance will not cover that!

I would like to thank everyone for their patience during the recent few weeks. We have had a lot of rehearsal time. We are almost at the end of it and can go back to some more fun content.

Sunday, 30th November - Skipton Christmas Light Switch On - Skipton Town Council.

(12:30 - 13:00) - On the stage, High Street (Helen/Toby).

Monday, 8th December - Osteoporosis Support Group,

room at Fisher Medical Centre. Millfields, Coach Street, Skipton, BD23 1EU. (Linda/Teresa). (10:45 - 11:25). Bucket Charity collection.

Teresa is our contact on the day.

Fund collected to put together with funds gained in 3) & 4) to go towards our two charities in 2025.

Sunday, 14th December - Holy Trinity Church, Christmas Market Gig

at Holy Trinity Church (Annie/Bev). 14:00 - 14:45

All donations proceeds go towards the Church’s heating system funds.
