Club Night - 4th June 2026

Another week rolls round. We are building up to the Gala in a week or two so we will run through the five songs for that, but then we need to fill up the rest of the time.

I was trying to come up with something and couldn't think of a theme as such, so I went foraging through our library to see what I could see. The list below is a result of that. A lot of songs that are a little fresher to the group, but I thought we did a reasonable job of.

Skipton Gala 13th June

The Uke decoration continues at a pace. I will bring my four in. I think I do not have a duplicate unless someone else has snagged Benin. If that is the case then we will just have to put one on each side of the lorry.

We have some timings for the weekend.

9am: Floats arrive at Westmoreland St. Decorating begins

10:30am: All people need to be at the float to sort out seating etc.

11am: The Floats are judged by the Mayor

1pm: Parade starts.

2pm: We will have arrived at Aireville Park and dismantled the float to take the bits away.

We do have other gigs coming later on. I will add details of those as I get them and then also remember to add them here!

If anyone has ideas for club nights, then please reach out to me or the committee so that we can look to do them. Almost all ideas will work in some way or another.
