All Work and No Play....

ree

makes Ukes a dull toy.

Hopefully you get the reference.

Last week was fantastic. There was just so much that we could look to include into our own songs as a great way to go into them and how to end them on a high too. We will be trying to include some of those ideas in the future. This is certain.

Ok, we are getting closer to the Gargrave gig and have the list of songs for that along with suggestions for song leaders for them.

I'll list them all below, but I think that we are good for most of them, so hopefully we do not need to spend too much time practicing them.

We are also getting closer to the festive season, and there was a song put forward to learn for this season. We can take a look at that perhaps this week or next. One such song is Step Into Christmas by Elton John.

Beyond that I was going to choose a load of songs that are job related. Now, we don't have Working 9 to 5, or anything by Men at Work, but hopefully we still have a few songs to choose from.

That may include some familiar songs that people may know, but that we have never played in the club...... you will just have to wait to find out.

I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday.
