Other things going on

From October, I will be taking a break for the first Thursday of each month. This will give me some much-needed time off and will also give the members the opportunity to run evenings without me controlling it all, and to generate new ideas for how the Club can move forward.

Playlist for Thursday

We have just done a very successful performance at Whinfield Bowling Club and we tried some experimental things, most of which worked well. Therefore, the playlist will be based on a re-run of the Whinfield Playlist, to see if we can incorporate the new ideas into the songs for the whole group to share.

Jolene - High voices only or solo singing in the verse Georgy Girl (new songsheet attached) Wellerman - A bit more instrumental in the verses Good Riddance - needs a bit of polishing up Valerie (in G) Better "Tapping" verse Half the World Away - needs a bit of polishing up You're My Best Friend (In F) alternate high voice / low voice singing Enjoy Yourself - Add shaker in the verses, otherwise Just turn Tony loose on it! This should also leave time for spontaneous requests from yourselves, and probably a slightly-extended break so that we can all tell each other what we have been up to since July!
