Club Night 31st August 2023

Thursday night uke-ing is same time and place as tomorrow, and I am looking forward to seeing you all again.

Official start-time for the main session is 7:15 but please feel free to arrive early (any time from 6:30) for social chat and beginners' help.

Drama at the Town Hall !

How about a Group outing to see Sharon and Steve performing in "Calendar Girls" at the Town Hall. It is on for 25th-28th October, It's not cheap (Full price £22) but it should be a great evening's entertainment. Please let me know if you are interested. I will be asking for likely participators tomorrow.

Ilkley Stroke Group 2.00 pm Friday 8th September (sign-up sheet on the admin table) -14 people have signed up for this, so we should be able to put on a great show.

Woodlands Care Home (Skipton) 2.00 pm Monday 25th September (sign-up sheet on the admin table) - Just 9 people signed up for this so far, so a couple more would be welcome.

New Enquiries -

Threshfield Court ... I have told them that we are already busy for September, and I have asked them to come back with suggested dates for October.

Craven Open Door (one of our designated charities) I am planning to suggest Tuesday 3rd October to them, and I will let you know the outcome.

Other things going on

From October, I will be taking a break for the first Thursday of each month. This will give me some much-needed time off and will also give the members the opportunity to run evenings without me controlling it all, and to generate new ideas for how the Club can move forward.

This week the playlist will be about getting ready for Ilkley Stroke Group gig on 8th September.
